LEND Medical Home Compentencies
Read about LEND’s interdisciplinary training programs, which operate within a university system, to improve the health of infants, children, and adolescents with disabilities. With the support of MCHB, a group of LEND Directors, in partnership with AAP’s National Center, began working on the development of medical home competencies in January 2009 to provide LEND trainees a high level of understanding and competency in: interdisciplinary teamwork and service provision, family-centered care, cultural competency, and leadership in policy and advocacy.
