Webcast: Celebrating Title V at 75 Nationwide
In 2010, the Health Resources and Services Administration's Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) celebrates the 75th Anniversary of Title V of the Social Security Act. In this webcast, MCHB, in partnership with Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs, is inviting MCH professionals, families and advocates across the country to plan locally for commemorating this landmark legislation and 75 years of successfully ensuring the health of our nation’s women, infants, and children. Presentations will reflect on the program’s rich legacy, note the vigor of the national and state programs today, and call upon participants to aspire to creating a future worthy of Title V's past.

CityMatCH Urban MCH Leadership Conference
The mission of CityMatCH is to improve the health and well-being of urban women, children and families by strengthening the public health organizations and leaders in their communities. Following the conference, participants will be able to:
- Apply knowledge and skills as described in the MCH Leadership Competencies (v 3.0).
- Use data to support the development and implementation of maternal and child health programs and policies.
- Evaluate maternal and child health programs and policies appropriately in order to contribute to the MCH evidence base.
- Design evidence-based public health programs for urban women, children and families.
- Use innovative thinking to design public health programs for urban women, children and families.
- Integrate national recommendations and examples into public health programs and policies.
- Critique the health impact of established and proposed federal, state and local policies that effect local urban maternal and child health populations.

NIQIE 2010: Mastering Continuous Performance Improvement
This dynamic, hands‐on workshop presented by the National Institute for Quality Improvement and Education (NIQIE) is designed for those planning performance improvement activities that meet criteria for ABMS Maintenance of Certification Part IV and Performance Improvement CME. In order to maximize benefit, organizational teams consisting of representatives from CME, Quality Improvement and Information Technology, are encouraged to participate in this workshop together.

Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc (SCDAA) 38th Annual Convention
2010 marks the 100th Anniversary of the discovery of sickle cell disease in the western hemisphere. This year's theme Giving New Voice to Sickle Cell Disease - 100 Years of Recognition reflects SCDAA's mission to advocate for improved quality of life for individuals and families affected with sickle cell disease. Those who play a vital role in sickle cell disease research, medical and psychosocial care, advocacy, community-based program administration, genetic counseling, government relations and public health policy decisions will be in attendance, as well as, patients and families affected with SCD.

2010 American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) National Conference and Exhibition (NCE)

The AAP National Conference and Exhibition (NCE) is the most comprehensive pediatric meeting in the world and represents the full spectrum of pediatric medical professionals and decision-makers, including pediatricians in general practice and subspecialties, young physicians, pediatric residents, and allied health professionals.
